In partnership with Firestone Racing and the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, Kid Spark introduced INDYcar racing in a fun, educational way to children in the Nashville area community.

Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund, a strong advocate of STEM education, and partner on several Kid Spark Education initiatives, has generously sponsored the placement of another STEM Equity Grant in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area.

Firestone, through its parent company, Bridgestone has provided a $10,000 grant to Kid Spark Education at the start of the NNT Indycar series season in honor of the late Gil De Ferran, a beloved INDYcar driver. This grant will be directed toward providing STEM Education to the students of Dillard Elementary School, where Gil and his wife volunteered for years.

Building on the initial success, TC Energy is now funding the expansion of the STEM Equity Grants Initiative to eight new sites in underserved communities across the United States.

Kid Spark team member Amal recently spoke with Carol Foye, an educator in Manatee County, Florida. Carol has used the Kid Spark program for two years to support a summer school for middle school English Language Learners (ELL). She shares insights on the program's flexibility, its effectiveness in language learning, and its positive impacts on teachers and students. Through Carol, we see how Kid Spark's hands-on curriculum has revolutionized STEM education for ELL students and teachers without a traditional STEM background.

The Million Girls Moonshot, a nationwide initiative focused on promoting STEM education and bridging the gender gap, has formed a strategic alliance with Kid Spark Education. Together, they aim to empower underrepresented groups, including girls and children of color, by making STEM education accessible to all children in the country.

In a recent interview, Amy Ulen, a dedicated educator from Washington State's Clover Park School District, shared the remarkable success of implementing the Kid Spark STEM program in their afterschool sessions. 

Kid Spark Education, a Missouri-based leader in early STEM education, has formed a transformative partnership with East Coast Migrant Head Start (ECMHS) to extend comprehensive STEM programs and teacher training across 15 locations in Florida, Alabama, and North Carolina. This initiative builds on successful pilot programs, aiming to bridge educational disparities and equip underserved BIPOC, rural, and low-income communities with essential 21st-century skills, receiving enthusiastic support from ECMHS and Kid Spark Education leaders.

Kid Spark Education, a national leader in hands-on STEM education, is excited to announce a transformative partnership with the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLCs) to provide comprehensive STEM education programming and teacher training to 23 sites across the state of Delaware.
