Engineering Basics
In this unit, students will learn the basics of how to use Kid Spark resources in the classroom. Students will get hands-on as they explore basic engineering concepts such as how to make things strong, how to make things move, and how to use a design and engineering process to solve problems.

Introduction to ROK Blocks
In this lesson, students will explore the engineering materials that are included in the ROK Blocks Mobile STEM Lab and become familiar with the name and function of each.
See Like a Designer, Think Like an Engineer
In this lesson, students will discover there are many different ways to solve a problem and anyone can contribute towards a design.
Design Perspectives
In this lesson, students will learn about size and dimension as they review 2D drawings and 3D physical objects. Students will learn how to measure in metric units using Kid Spark engineering materials.
Making Things Strong
In this lesson, students will learn how to use various engineering materials and construction techniques to make structures that are strong and stable.
Making Things Move
In this lesson, students will learn how Kid Spark engineering materials can be used to create different types of movement.
The Design & Engineering Process
This lesson will give students the skills and confidence to develop design ideas and bring them to life. Students will learn how to apply essential steps in a design & engineering process to produce creative, collaborative solutions to STEM challenges.
ROK Creek Bridge
This activity is designed to introduce students to the basics of bridge design. Students will build different types of bridges and learn about the forces acting on them.
